Entryway Ideas

I have been battling our entryway for one and a half years. Although I already have a home for the umbrellas and all my various scarfs, I still desperately need some kind of narrow table with drawer storage, a mirror or two (or three), a chair for my bag, a place to sit to strap on those sandals, tie those sneakers or pull on those boots. Here are some that I really love…
Above is the Funky Hallway. The playful memo board and the yellows really catch and hold my eyes.

Bright and Black Hallway – there’s the yellow again, but more neon and tinged with green this time. However, it’s the powerful black wall set against it that I love.

Open Plan Hall – varying shades of blue glass let in a tremendous amount of natural light. The very unusual storage is quirky and does not visually take up too much space – it’s also see-through which goes back so well with the glass panels on the door.

Pure White Hallway – the white on white really makes any and all other colors jump out. That huge ornate oval mirror is singing to me right now…

Quirky Lobby – you won’t find this off the shelf anywhere. I have a feeling that partition changes with time depending on the artist’s whimsy. I love it, I just don’t want to dust it.

Modern Panelling – It’s the combination of the quiet greys and warm wood…gets me again and again, again and again…
