Affordable Industrial Chic – Ergoiamtoo

Ergoiamtoo – you make me all warm and fuzzy. You are THE answer to all my industrial obsesssed, but on a budget, prayers. Ever since we got our industrial coffee table, I’ve been hooked on metal. I find slightly corroded and rusted metals as functional home pieces absolutely beautiful. Maybe it’s the history behind each piece, most are from former factories. Whether they are repurposed as they are or taken apart and rebuilt into something totally different with other parts, each piece has their own long and hard working machinery history. In my search to furnish our apartment, I came across this Steel Table with adjustable height. The steel top is awesome, but the tripod steel base had me at first sight. I’m thinking breakfast table by the kitchen window seat nook or side table for our yet to exist reading nook. It’s a done deal.

This 28-Drawer Steel Card Cabinet is the real McCoy. It still has the original finish and weighs 350 lbs. If only I have a bunch of small-ish stuff to store… I think it would be great for the handy DIY folks who need storage for their tools and hardware.

I’ve looked high and low for the perfect set of stools for our kitchen breakfast bar. A couple of these Grey Steel Drafting Stools will more than do the trick.

These Gate Keepers are an art project waiting to happen. My husband is planning something with muslin, linen, maybe some spray paint and hooks…

This Green Porcelain Hanging Swag Lamp can go above our yet to be replaced dining table. Actually, it would look great and unexpected as one of our hallway lights as well.

This serious Cast Iron Pedestal Base is begging for a rustic tabletop. They can make a wood or metal top to go with this base – one stop shopping. I love the worn green paint.

A metal top is quite unusual for a coffee table. Paired with the gear base, this 36″ Round Coffee Table makes for a great contrast piece with a warm living room.
