About Donkee House
We are a husband & wife team living in Forest Hills, NY. We started this blog because we wanted to document the renovation we did in our co-op we bought in 2007. It was such a fun, frustrating, stressful but ultimately rewarding experience. Now that the “bones” are done, we are in what seems a never-ending journey to furnish and decorate our home. It does not seem to end because our tastes change frequently – the more we see and discover, the harder it gets to choose what we like best. Oh, and of course, we have to find ways to fit what we like in our wee budget!
Our little apartment is our inspiration for this blog. However, we hope to include other things that excite us like food, travel, books, our planet, birthdays, personal finance stuff, gadgets, movies, craigslist, people…
